Arise, arise, Riders of Theoden!
Fell deeds awake: fire and slaughter!
spear shall be shaken, shield be splintered,
a sword-day, a red day, ere the sun rises!
Ride now, ride now! Ride to Gondor!
- Theoden, King of Rohan

I, Magus

I couldn't sleep last night so I started reading The Soulforge, book one of The Raistlin Chronicles. Wow. Harry Potter is crap compared to this. Apparently, being a Wizard isn't just learning to say a combination of words and waving a wand. Who needs a wand? Raistlin's training involves learning to properly pronounce the arcane. Upon perfecting the pronunciation, he has to copy the spell perfectly into his scroll. Only then will he be able to cast the spell. I'm reading the second book, Brothers in Arms, and I've just encountered one of the legendary dragons- the red dragon Immolatus, Queen Takhisis' favorite. I have to pause for tonight, though, cause I have to study for SSD3. :)

**********

I've been cranky the past few days with Mog. He doesn't know that half the time, I'm irritated with him. I don't want to tell him because I myself do not know why I'm irritated. I just feel like everything about us is a case of wrong timing. When we're in school, he wants a lot of attention from me, but I want to focus my attention on SSD3. He's lucky, he knows SSD3 by the back of his hand. But I'm struggling blindly. I know he'd willingly help me, but I feel like this is something I have to do for myself. I'd eventually ask for help, if I'm at the end of my rope, but I want to try learning all of it on my own first. I want to prove to myself that I can do it. Lately, it seems like we don't have time just for us- we're always with either Nix or Gino, even after class hours. Especially after classes. (*sigh here*) When I call him up, he's busy with other stuff, and you know I don't want to intrude cause I don't want people disturbing me when I'm doing something (like reading) either. By the time he gets around to calling, I'm the busy one. And I just hate being interrupted when I'm reading. If we're both not busy, we're sleepy, so we just say our goodnights, no more conversation. I hate to think this way, but is it possible that we have run out of things to say to each other? We talked a lot more before we became a couple. I just miss those days...

LJ fun...

Want to know what's on George Bush's mind? Take a peek and tell him what you think about the war. It's worth it, I tell you.

And here's another one that will make your day. I never laughed this hard! :) Enjoy!

incoming transmission... all your base are belong to us...

Just took the Internet Addict Test. Apparently, I'm a 61% addict. Oh well, I think I'm more of an online gaming addict anyway. ^o^

First class of the summer term is only a few hours away from now. I don't know if I should be excited or disappointed. On one side, I have my summer vacation is virtually non-existent. On the other, I get to see my girlfriend everyday and obtain new knowledge (duh). Hmm... I guess it's much better to learn AND be with my girlfriend then to rot the summer away, mostly sitting around in the house, the occasional beach and such.

Tala mentions a few blogs earlier that I'm her Kuya. Dream on Ate. ;p

Oh well, time to surf around for a while. There's an invader on my PC right now so I can't play my games. :(

dial-ups and downs...

I just submitted my application for that new promo of Tri-Isys, unlimited dial-up Internet for P680. Sources from Peyups say that it's reliable. Plus, the contract is only monthly, not yearly. That meas that if I don't like their service after a month, I could unsubscribe. I wish Bayantel would hurry up with their DSL plans for home users. Or that Globelines would extend their services in my area. :) At least ISP Bonanza isn't acting up now, unlike the previous weeks. 20 hours for P100 is cheap nowadays. And downloading is pretty fast. :) But I still yearn for DSL. :)

precious cargo...

Yes! I found 2 stores that sell wearable cargo pants (wearable: passing my standards, lol :)). One is at the U floor of Rustan's where I bought those amazing denim cargos for P800+, and the other is (surprise, surprise) Celine. Apparently, it's no longer just a shoe store. It has these amazing cargos. There are 3 shades: khaki, army green, and black. There are drawstring ones that are perfect for the summer heat. And they only cost P700+. :) I'm getting all the designs and colors. I hope Levi's or Bench comes out with more cargos soon. :)
