Arise, arise, Riders of Theoden!
Fell deeds awake: fire and slaughter!
spear shall be shaken, shield be splintered,
a sword-day, a red day, ere the sun rises!
Ride now, ride now! Ride to Gondor!
- Theoden, King of Rohan

loneliness...

The feeling I abhor the most in this world... and what I'm feeling right now. I've run out of things to do, things to think about, and the only person I want to spend my time with is at the karaoke with his friends. Fuck him. It never changes. No matter who I'm with, I always end up feeling this immense loneliness... Is it just me? Fuck it, this is what I hate about relationships! I feel rejected. It's like I want to watch television but there's no electricity. It's just so frustrating, and I'm annoyed at myself for placing myself in this situation. This is what I have been wanting to avoid, but by going into this relationship with Mog, I ended up throwing myself directly into the fire. Fuck. Great, my grandmother's here. Any chance of a semi-long and satisfying conversation with him has gone kaput. =(

mobile computing

I'm on the lookout for my very first notebook. I found 2 neat ones from Dell, the Dell Latitude X200, which weighs only 2.8 kilograms, and the Dell Inspiron 600m, which weighs at 4.8kg and has the Intel Pentium M and Centrino technology. They both cost around P70k. Mog told me about this site called Alienware so I visited it. OMG! I positively drooled over the Area-51 laptop! You have got to see it to know what I'm talking about! :)

I'm not really very picky when it comes to getting my first notebook. I just need something smaller than the Asus I'm using right now (it's my grandfather's). I just need something to lug around school and save my SSD stuff so that I don't have to keep saving on a diskette and then backing them up on my desktop. Plus, this ensures that no one will be able to copy my (crude) codes, right Nix? :) So anyway, I'm thinking an Intel Celeron 1.5GHz (and above), with about 20-30Gb of hard drive space, and about 256MB DDR. I found something on Bidshot, it's a Dell Inspiron 2650 for P40k. I'm still thinking...

Here's something from the iAcademy Yahoogroups:

Virgo (Aug 23 - Sept22)
DO'S
Virgo's are very methodical and have a great sense of duty. Howver, they are blind to their own faults. So, if you have a Virgo partner emphasise more on their qualities. Take keen interest in what they are doing and you will realise that they will go out of their way to help you. Do rely and appreciate their mental powers rather than their physical powers. They can turn even an unsuccessful venture into a success.
DON'TS
Do not push a Virgo into limelight or on the centre stage unless of course they do so on their own. They are shy and reserved by nature and do not like to be the cynosure of all eyes. Virgo's have secrets that they would not like to bring out in the open . So, even if you have the key to their secret skeleton-closet, hide it; do not even admit that you know anything about it. Virgo, the virgins, do not want to tarnish their public image.

Taurus (Apr 20 - May 21)
DO'S
Stability and dependability characterise Taurus. They like people who can blend and grow with them. If you have a Taurus partner you should appreciate all things bright and beautiful. They have an inherent artistic sense and are fond of colour and music. Judge life with them from a purely materialistic point of view. Enjoy everything luxurious that money can provide. Enjoy good food (better if you can cook to please them) and good drinks with them.
DON'TS
Taurus do not loose their temper easily (in fact you may spend the whole life with them and still no spark) but you should not push your luck too much. Being unreasonable or aggressive with them may get you into trouble. Do not press him/her into a corner, and if you do, be prepared for a violent rage. Taurus is capable of violent outbursts though such an event is is very rare occasions. They can be suffocating when they are possessive about you. They will do anything and everything to reach their goals so beware. They won't care if it means hurting you intentionally.

postscript

I figured out the Archives thingie. It turned out to be a no brainer, just leave the text field for Archive folder blank. :) By the way, I'm at San Carlos, staying for the Holy Week.

test...

Argh! GeoCities just wont cooperate on the Ftp thingie! And I finally found out why. They stopped the Ftp feature for the free hosting pavkage. Ftp is only available for Premium subscribers. Crap! So now I've switched to Tripod. Although it has this pop-up ad (so does Geocities now, for that matter), at least now I can stop direct-linking my sprites. :) Now the only thing I have to make is a separate page for my archives. :)

wholly week...

It's the start of a 4-day weekend! Yay! :) We have an Exercise about freaking arrays to do over the vacation! Booooo!!! (Benz, I hope you see this!) I'm gonna miss my moogle... sniff, sniff... :(

I'm planning to link the sites and/or blogs of my schoolmates at iAcademy. They have amazing artistic talents, my blog pales in comparison. That will be up soon. :)

I, Magus Part II

I couldn't find my brother's copy of Dragons of Autumn Twilight. In my haste and eagerness to read it, I leeched off of Mog's broadband and downloaded PDF files (e-books) of all 6 book in the Chronicles and Legends trilogies. :)
